One Jump Ahead goes to the printers on Monday

One Jump Ahead will go to the printers on Monday next week and should be published at some stage the following week. I will update the Diary once I have a more definite date. I will be sending out letters to previous clients next week, plus the Publications section of the site will be updated by Tuesday/Wednesday and it will be possible to order a copy - and the Updates - on here.

It promises to be the biggest edition of One Jump Ahead with interviews with leading owners Rich Ricci and Jared Sullivan, plus a run down on Value Racing Club's horses, a very successful syndicate in recent years, for which I am Ambassador.

The Talking Trainers section covers 12 stables, namely Kim Bailey, Harry Fry, Warren Greatrex, Philip Hobbs, Alan King, Tom Lacey, Donald McCain, Olly Murphy, Paul Nicholls, Jonjo O'Neill, David Pipe and Nicky Richards.

Declan Phelan has highlighted over 55 Irish Pointers who caught his eye between the flags last season. His article last year included subsequent Grade 1 winners Honeysuckle and Minella Indo.

The French Revolution section has included subsequent Cheltenham Festival winners Espoir D'Allen, Defi Du Seuil and Klassical Dream during the last couple of years. There are over 30 horses who have yet to race in either Britain or Ireland having been acquired during the last twelve months. Former French champion jockey James Reveley has added comments to those horses he has either ridden or ridden against in the feature.

Other sections include Changing Codes and, new this year, Handicap Snips, a small but select team of horses who look ahead of the assessor. All that and more for £10.99. In the meantime, I am heading to York on Sunday for Racing TV. I will be back to update the Diary at the start of next week.
