Ahead On The Flat was published a fortnight ago and the Top 40 Prospects are currently in PROFIT thanks to CLERISY (8/1), SKARDU (3/1) and UAE JEWEL (10/11).

The Talking Trainers section always proves popular with readers with ANDREW BALDING (Bye Bye Hong Kong (7/2), Fox Chairman (15/8), Happy Power (9/4), Raise You (10/11), Shine So Bright (5/2)), DAVID O'MEARA (Hortzadar (12/1, 4/7), Leodis Dream (3/1), Three Saints Day (6/1)) and ROGER VARIAN (Lufricia (7/1), Qabala (100/30), Queen of Desire (11/4), UAE Jewel (10/11), Zabeel Prince (9/2)), in particular, in good form at present. WILLIAM HAGGAS (Maqsad (6/4), Skardu (3/1)), ED WALKER (Agrotera (7/2)) and IAN WILLIAMS (Mokaatil (10/1)) have also been amongst the winners.

The Maidens In Waiting section has already unearthed promising three year olds DEREVO (8/13) and MAQSAD (6/4), whilst the Ballydoyle Juveniles section is one from one following the impressive winning debut by KING NEPTUNE (11/10) at Dundalk last week. The son of War Front scored by three and a quarter lengths and looked Royal Ascot material in the process.

One of the chief aims of Ahead On The Flat is to unearth future stars and the previously unraced trio FOX CHAIRMAN, KING NEPTUNE and UAE JEWEL looked well above average when making a winning start to their respective careers earlier this month. I am sure there are plenty more within the 148 pages of AOTF which have yet to be unleashed. If you haven't already ordered a copy of Ahead On The Flat and Updates, please head to the Publications section of the site. With an excellent card at Sandown on Friday followed by the Guineas meeting at Newmarket in early May, plus Chester and York's opening fixtures next month, this is the ideal time to order.

Talking of unraced horses, last year's York Ebor Update included a feature titled The Juvenile Scene. COURT POET (5/4), FASHION'S STAR (3/1), HEADMAN (8/13), KADAR (5/2) and PRINCE EIJI (4/1) were all highlighted and the quintet all won at the first time of asking last Autumn.
