Handicap Hitlist

A new section in the forthcoming edition of One Jump Ahead is Handicap Hitlist, which was completed on Friday. There is a small selection of horses who are considered well handicapped, a view which has been confirmed by their respective trainers, who I have been speaking to during the last few weeks. It will hopefully make for interesting reading.

The French Revolution section has also been finalised with over 40 new recruits from across the English Channel. The majority are bound for Willie Mullins and Gordon Elliott but there are also a fair share going to the likes of Nicky Henderson and Paul Nicholls. Grade 1 winners Gala Marceau, Impaire Et Passe and Irish Point were three of those highlighted twelve months ago.

Declan Phelan is sending me his article next week, Irish Pointers, which is certain to contain some exciting prospects for the future. Last year's feature produced 46 winners at a strike rate of 33% and included Grade 1 winners Hermes Allen and Inthepocket.
