Indian Hawk, featured in Bromley's Best Buys in One Jump Ahead, made an excellent start to his Rules career by winning the two miles five maiden hurdle at Ludlow by eight lengths. A thirty lengths winner of an English point in Cheshire for Nicky Tinkler, he was bought on behalf of Simon Munir and Isaac Suede by the Newmarket based bloodstock agent. The Westerner gelding travelled strongly before pulling away after the second last flight. Indeed, the further he went, the better he looked. It remains to be seen how deep a contest it was, but it was still an encouraging start. Not surprisingly, his future lies over fences long-term.
I am away for a few weeks but will endeavour to reply to any emails I receive during that period. Please be patient though because I won't always have access to the internet. I will also update the Diary whenever I can.
