The Top 40 Prospects continues to frustrate but One Jump Ahead was responsible for 8 winners on Sunday. I was working for Racing TV at Carlisle and the Grade 1 winning novice chaser Lostintranslation made a successful reappearance in the Listed Colin Parker Memorial Chase. Colin Tizzard's former Irish pointer jumped beautifully under Robbie Power and had no trouble conceding weight all round to his three opponents. A two and a quarter lengths winner, the Betfair Chase at Haydock is next on his agenda before a tilt at the King George Chase at Kempton on Boxing Day.
Despite the inclement weather it was a thoroughly enjoyable day at the Cumbrian track and I managed to speak to a few connections of the horses in the Top 40 Prospects whose views I will include in the first OJA Update.
