It was another successful weekend for followers of One Jump Ahead with 14 winners over the two days. Declan Phelan's Irish Pointers have been in terrific form with three more winners. The highlighted was provided by Donny Boy (7/4) in the concluding bumper at Kelso on Saturday. The former Aidan Fitzgerald trained five year old joined Nick Alexander during the summer and he made an excellent start to his Rules career with a fourteen lengths victory. Ridden by Conor O'Farrell, the Westerner gelding was always travelling smoothly and he sauntered clear in the homestraight to win hard held. Given his age, he is likely to go hurdling now and is a terrific prospect for the Alexander team.

Westerner was also responsible for the sole runner in the Top 40 over the weekend, Mr Incredible, and he overcame a fair share of carnage to win the two miles three beginners chase on his fencing bow at Naas. Slowly away and hampered at the third fence when a handful of runners departed, Rachel Blackmore's mount was faced with a mountain to climb. On the run to two out, the five year old still had plenty on his plate before he stayed on strongly to lead close home and win going away by two and a quarter lengths. On this evidence, Henry De Bromhead's charge is going to come into his own over further.

Olly Murphy has his string in fine form and Gordon Elliott's former assistant sent out 4 winners from 7 runners over the weekend. Brewin'upastorm produced a first class performance to win the two and a half miles conditions hurdle at Aintree. Conceding weight all round, the eight year old was given a confident ride before powering nine lengths clear. It sets him up nicely for the winter, although it will be interesting to see where he goes next. The Grade 2 Relkeel Hurdle at Cheltenham on New Year's Day is an option.

Olly has never hidden his regard for Bombs Away who he believed to be his best bumper horse last season. Runner-up at Southwell in early May, the half-brother to Ribble Valley made his hurdles debut at Sandown on Sunday and he disappoint with a comfortable success. Held up by Aidan Coleman, he is another son of Westerner and displayed a good turn of foot to lead after the last before pulling away. Expect him to be kept to the minimum trip for the time being because he has been keen and isn't slow either.

The winners featured in OJA on Saturday were: Brewin'upastorm (5/1), Calipso Collonges (13/2), Donny Boy (7/4), Knappers Hill (1/10), Linelee King (17/2), Mister Whitaker (4/9), Mr Incredible (11/10), Sceau Royal (4/5) and Wynn House (100/30).

The winners on Sunday were: Bombs Away (7/4), Ginto (30/100), Hudson De Grugy (11/4), Minella Trump (6/5) and My Mate Mozzie (4/5).

Don't forget, the November Update will be emailed to clients on Thursday pm - if you haven't already ordered, please go to the Publications section of the site. The Update is £8 or £40.00 for all 5.
