On Thursday morning, I interviewed Joe Foley, racing manager for Clipper Logistics, for the Royal Ascot Update. Joe kindly ran through a team of around 10 / 11 horses for next week, including some exciting juveniles, and he also passed on news regarding their Group 1 winning sprinter Romantic Proposal who unfortunately misses Tuesday's King's Stand Stakes.
If you haven't ordered your copy of the Royal Ascot Update, please head to the Publications section of the site. The Update will be emailed to clients on Sunday pm. More immediately, I am heading to Aintree on Friday night where there are only 30 runners for the seven races (four non runners at the time of writing). However, I was told at Haydock on Wednesday that it is a sell out crowd of 11,000 due to the fact Nile Rodgers and Chic are playing after racing.
