As stated in the Diary on Thursday, my web designer is updating the Publications section of the site on Monday. Clients will therefore be able to order copies of One Jump Ahead and the Updates via the website. The prices remain the same as last year ie. One Jump Ahead £9.99 and £39.99 for OJA and the Updates. Please note, I will NOT be doing the Email Service this year. It is possible it will return next year. Either way, I will notify clients.

If anyone would like an order form for OJA and the Updates, please email me at mark.howard@publications.co.uk. OJA is due back from the printers the week starting Monday 17th September. Obviously, if it arrives any sooner, orders will be despatched immediately.

With Tasleet failing to fire in the Sprint Cup at Haydock, it wasn't the greatest of days results wise on Saturday. That was compounded by the fact three horses I selected in the York Ebor Update all won yesterday. Mekong (9/4), Reshoun (6/1) and Borodin (7/2) all appeared to appreciate the easy ground they encountered. The first named, in particular, produced a very smooth performance in the opening one mile six handicap which opened Haydock's card. Sir Michael Stoute's three year old has now scored twice on heavy ground and, granted such conditions, he is a potentially smart stayer. He is very much one to look forward to next season.
