Leading owner Rich Ricci has kindly been in touch with the horses he is most looking forward to at next week's Cheltenham Festival, plus some news regarding his likely runners. In addition, top Bloodstock agent and racing manager for Simon Munir and Isaac Souede, Anthony Bromley has also offered his horses to look out for over the four days at Prestbury Park. It has been a busy few days ringing around a few contacts and gathering information. Just a reminder that the One Jump Ahead Cheltenham Update will be emailed to clients on Sunday pm. There is still time to order your copy - please head to the Publications section of the site. The Update is £10.00.
STOP PRESS: Top Irish analyst Declan Phelan has penned a six page piece for the Update, too, which is very informative. As I have stated countless times in the past, Declan is the best judge of Irish racing.
The Top 40 Prospects continue in relentless form with another two winners on Friday, namely Impose Toi and Hititi (5/2) at Exeter. The former is a smart young prospect who never came off the bridle to win by sixteen lengths, while the former has been an expensive horse to follow. However, the Robert Walford trained gelding finally showed what he is capable of by winning the two miles five handicap hurdle by a mere twelve lengths. There was never an anxious moment for the pair - that's five winners from the last five runners in the Top 40. Long may it continue.
