Interviews with King, Reveley & Ricci

On Thursday, I had the pleasure of interviewing Alan King, three times French champion jockey James Reveley and got the lowdown on the powerful team of leading owner Rich Ricci for the new edition of One Jump Ahead.

James Reveley was on his way home from Vittel having partnered the former Neil Mulholland trained Hashtag Val to a twenty lengths victory on his chasing debut. The six year old is now under the care of Noel George and it was the first time James had ridden in the famous J.P.McManus silks. A moment to treasure I am sure for the champion jockey.

James passed on news of a number of exciting young horses who he has either partnered or ridden against in recent months who will be plying their trade in the UK or Ireland this winter. There are certainly some terrific prospects amongst them and ones to bear in mind for this season and beyond. It is the fifth successive year that James has contributed to One Jump Ahead.

As regular readers will be aware, Rich Ricci has also been a tremendous supporter of OJA and he, along with racing manager Joe Chambers, have outlined their plans for the season ahead. These include Grade 1 winners Gaelic Warrior, Lossiemouth and Vauban, plus some interesting new additions to the 'pink and green' team.
