I have sent a message to Email Service clients this evening (5.32pm). If anyone hasn't received it, please let me know as soon as possible.
Defi Du Seuil made it three out of three in the opening juvenile hurdle at Cheltenham. Philip Hobbs' gelding had won at the Open meeting last month and wasn't hard pushed to follow up here under Barry Geraghty. A length and three quarters scorer, he is now proven on both the Old and New courses at Prestbury Park and sets the standard as far as the British juvenile hurders are concerned.
I was must admit I was bitterly disappointed with O O Seven's performance in the Graded novice chase at Doncaster. Only third behind Present Man, Nicky Henderson's gelding was stepping up to three miles, a trip he had won over at Musselburgh last term. However, he didn't jump with the same fluency which had seen him win impressively on his fencing bow at Cheltenham in November. I am sure he is better than he showed today.
