The One Jump Ahead Cheltenham Festival Update has been emailed to clients (4.18pm). If anyone hasn't received it, please let me know as soon as possible. There is still time to order a copy - please head to the Publications section of the site. The Update is £10.00.

The 42 page Update includes an interview with the in-form champion trainer Paul Nicholls, Irish expert Declan Phelan has penned a six page piece, while Rich Ricci and Anthony Bromley have nominated the horses they are most looking forward to running this week. There are additional horses to follow at the 'away tracks' this week and a couple of ante-post selections for next month's Lincoln Handicap at Doncaster.

The Top 40 Prospects in OJA have had a superb few days and Haut Estime (3/1) returned to form to provide the section with its sixth winner of the week. Lucinda Russell's charge had failed to live up to expectations during the first half of the season and wasn't much better at Carlisle last time. However, the French bred produced a much better effort to win the two and a half miles mares' novice chase at Warwick on Sunday. Hopefully the six year old will have a productive spell in the spring. Her Scottish trainer couldn't be in better form with 11 winners from 27 runners during the last 14 days and jockey Patrick Wadge has ridden 6 winners from his last 13 rides.

Elsewhere, Declan Phelan's Irish Pointers feature had another winner at Naas with Nick Rockett (11/8) scoring on his hurdles debut. Willie Mullins' gelding had won a bumper at Thurles last month looking a stayer in the process and he appreciated the step up in distance over obstacles here. Even though his jumping was clumsy on occasions, he won going away and will have no trouble staying further than two and a half miles. Sporting the same silks as former Hennessy Gold Cup winner Ever Blessed, his future lies over fences.
