As discussed a couple of days ago, The Juvenile Scene feature in the York Ebor Update has been churning out of winners and that trend continued in the first division of the seven furlongs fillies' maiden which opened Leicester's card this afternoon. Aim of Artemis had shaped with distinct promise on her racecours debut at Newbury last month over six furlongs and Sir Michael Stoute's beautifully bred filly confirmed that view with victory over an extra furlong at the Midlands track. A half-sister to the stable's triple Listed winner Abingdon, she took a few strides to hit top gear but ran on strongly under Ryan Moore to lead well inside the final furlong. A further step to a mile will suit her even more and she looks a filly of considerable potential.
Thank you very much to those clients who have ordered One Jump Ahead, the Updates and the Email Service within the last 24 hours, it is greatly appreciated. The response has been tremendous. I will be sending out letters with full details to previous purchasers who are on my mailing list at the end of this week.
I am working at Carlisle tomorrow for Racing UK and will therefore update the Diary later in the week.
