Philip Hobbs' team continue in fine form with the Minehead trainer being responsible for a treble at Leicester. Ebony Gale (11/10), Cotswold Way (Evens) and Dark Episode (6/1) all scored at the Midlands track. The trio were all featured in the Talking Trainers section of One Jump Ahead.
Further north, one of Declan Phelan's Irish Pointers Know The Score justified short price favouritism in the opening two and a half miles maiden hurdle at Hexham. Third on his hurdles debut at Chepstow last time, he proved too strong for his opponents beating Al Destoor by eight lengths. The Flemensfirth gelding looks a stayer and, while he looks capable of winning more races over timber, he will come into his own as a three miles plus chaser. He is the sort to be contesting the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle next spring. Longer-term, he could be lining up in a Welsh National.
