One Jump Ahead had another successful afternoon on Saturday with 4 more winners, namely Minella Double (4/5), Universal Folly (3/1), Unexpected Party (2/1) and Kap Boy (4/5). Nicky Richards nominated Universal Folly as his horse to follow and the eight year old won his fourth race in his last five starts in the two and a half miles novices' handicap chase at Hexham. As clients will be aware, Paul Nicholls has selected 10 unraced bumper horses in his interview and the four year Kap Boy was the first runner from the section. The Diana and Graeme Whateley owned gelding didn't disappoint winning the concluding event at Chepstow by a length. A gelded son of Kapgarde who was acquired for €160,000, he showed a good attitude responding well to pressure and looks a horse with a bright future.
Please head to the Publications section of the site to order your copy of One Jump Ahead and the Updates, if you haven't already done so. I am looking forward to working for Racing TV at Wetherby (Wednesday) and Carlisle (Thursday) next week.
