Tribute Act, featured as a horse to follow on page 116 of Ahead On The Flat in the Handicap Snips section, looked just that as she confirmed the promise of her reappearance at Newmarket by strolling to an easy success at Kempton last night. James Fanshawe's well bred filly was racing off a mark of 75 and she looked well ahead of the assessor as she recorded a length and three quarters success. It will be a surprise if she doesn't follow up and enjoy a productive three year old campaign.
As discussed, I am writing the Royal Ascot Update, which will be emailed to clients on Sunday evening. William Haggas kindly sent me his running plans for next week and highlighted the likely jockey arrangements, plus which horses are expected to wear headgear etc. These details will be included within the Update. I am working at Haydock this evening and York on Saturday and will therefore update the Diary when I get the opportunity. In the meantime, if you would like to order a copy of the Royal Ascot Update (£10), please go to the Publications section of the site.
