Jason Kelly Horse to Follow

Jason Kelly, David O’Meara’s assistant nominated Flyboy (16/1) as his horse to follow in Ahead On The Flat and the lightly raced three year old lost his maiden tag at Haydock this afternoon in a competitive one mile handicap. Placed in testing conditions on his previous two outings this year, the son of Zoffany appreciated the better ground at the Merseyside track and got the better of a blanket finish under Danny Tudhope.

I am working at Haydock tomorrow for what promises to be a terrific card. I will therefore be back to update the Diary on Sunday.
