Ben Pauling engaging top gear with 40/1 winner

Nicky Henderson's former assistant Ben Pauling has hit form in recent weeks. Ben told me at Aintree in late October that the majority of his string were needing their initial outings. That proved the case but they have really hit their straps and it is very much a stable to follow. Recent winners A Hare Breath (2/1), Nobuttaboy (2/1),  Red Indian (14/1) and Willoughby Court (3/1) were all included in Ben's interview in One Jump Ahead. The interview also included Perfect Pirate who scored only his second career start at Towcester this afternoon at 40/1. Sadly, I didn't back the four year old, who was bred by champion jockey Richard Johnson, but judging by the emails I received this afternoon quite a few clients did. Talk about an early Christmas present.
