Top 40 Prospects winner Mithras (16/5)

I am in between trips to Ayr for the their second day Scottish National meeting and heading back north of the border on Saturday evening. In the meantime, thank you very much to those clients who have purchased Ahead On The Flat.

The Top 40 Prospects got off to a good start on Friday with Mithras (16/5) winning a competitive seven furlongs handicap at Newbury under Frankie Dettori. Entered in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket, he is a progressive colt who will be even better when returning to a mile plus later in the campaign. The Top 40 should have had another winner later on the same card but it is money on lent - she is a smart filly who remains very much one to follow.
