Wadilsafa makes it 3 out of 4

Top 40 Prospects entry Wadilsafa made it three wins from four starts in 2018 when taking the one mile Listed event at Sandown on Wednesday. Owen Burrows' Frankel colt was returning from a 67 days break having won a handicap at York off a mark of 100 and he stayed on strongly to beat Hathal by a length and three quarters. His stable were under a cloud for much of the summer but hopefully Sir Michael Stoute's former assistant has turned the corner. A non stayer over ten furlongs at Royal Ascot, Wadilsafa appears to be at his best over a mile and looks capable of mixing it in Group company next season. He doesn't want it too soft though.
