Update on Publications

I contacted the printer on Tuesday morning and One Jump Ahead has been printed and is now on its way to the binders. All being well, it will be completed by Friday and delivered here later the same day. If anything changes, I will update on here, although I am heading to Scotland on Thursday evening for two days at Ayr on Friday and Saturday. The plan is to pack orders over the weekend and start sending out at the beginning of next week (Monday 25th September).

As far as the Autumn Update is concerned, as discussed it will be emailed to clients on Thursday 28th September - and NOT on Thursday 21st September, as stated in Ahead On The Flat. The Update will focus on the meeting at Newmarket which includes the Royal Lodge, Cheveley Park and Middle Park Stakes, plus the Cambridgeshire Handicap. There is also full analysis of the Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe at Longchamp, which takes place on Sunday 1st October. I will also study the second leg of the Autumn double, namely the Cesarewitch at Newmarket. 

Those clients who subscribed to the York Ebor Update will be aware that Fresh was nominated as an ante-post selection for the Ayr Gold Cup. Unfortunately, the six year old was taken out of the six furlongs cavalry charge on Monday after his trainer wasn't keen to travel north of the border. It is frustrating to say the least because he looked tailormade for it after his eyecatching performances at York and the Curragh. I dare say he will be heading back to Ascot where he has won three times for another valuable handicap early next month.
