One Jump Ahead was published on Tuesday afternoon and we have posted 1000 copies to clients who have already ordered. Another 1000 will be sent out during the next couple of days and the remainder at the end of the week. Thank you very much to those who have ordered the book and Updates, the response has been superb and better than any other year I can remember.
This is the 29th edition of One Jump Ahead and there are 196 pages. Chief contributors Anthony Bromley and Declan Phelan have penned informative articles with 36 and 46 horses covered respectively. There is also the French Revolution section which highlights 42 horses who plied their trade across the English Channel before being bought during the spring/summer and will be running in either Britain or Ireland this winter. This featue has unearthed Cheltenham Festival winners A PLUS TARD, BURNING VICTORY, DEFI DU SEUIL, ESPOIR D'ALLEN and KLASSICAL DREAM in recent years. Last season's article produced Grade 1 winners MONMIRAL, QUILIXIOS and GAILLARD DU MESNIL. With former French champion jockey James Reveley adding his expert opinion having either ridden or against a number of the horses featured, expect more of the same from this year's offering.
The Talking Trainers section includes stable interviews with Kim Bailey, Oliver Greenall, Philip Hobbs, Alan King, Tom Lacey, Donald McCain, Gary Moore, Olly Murphy, Paul Nicholls, Jonjo O'Neill, David Pipe and Nicky Richards. Messrs Greenall and Moore are the new additions this time around and are exciting inclusions. Both have recruited heavily during the summer and are set for even better campaigns than last winter.
There is also exclusive news of a dual bumper winner who recently changed hands moving from one powerful yard to another. Eight times Broadcaster of Year Nick Luck describes One Jump Ahead in his Foreword as "the clear leader in a crowded field."
Please head to the Publications section of the site to order a copy of One Jump Ahead and the Updates.
