Roger Varian's string have hit form with a vengeance this week with 8 winners during the last three days. The beautifully bred Pure Dignity made the perfect start to her career with a a length victory in the one mile novice stakes at Newmarket on Friday evening. Purchased for €2,500,000 as a yearling, the Dubawi filly is a half-sister to the French Derby and Prix de L'Arc de Triomphe winner Sottsass. Held in high regard at Carlburg Stables, she is featured in the Top 40 Prospects in Ahead On The Flat and her victory on the July course wasn't a surprise. Having travelled well, she made the most of chief rival Light of Peace (shown a good level of form) drifting to her right before quickening up smartly to win cosily. Both her breeding and racing style suggest Pure Dignity will be even better over ten furlongs plus. She is another exciting prospect for the Top 40.
