Deeply Superficial (13/8) provided the Top 40 Prospects in One Jump Ahead with its 40th winner of the season at Limerick on Sunday. Gordon Elliott's mare had won on her hurdles debut at Galway last Autumn before bumping into high quality opposition in Grade 2 events at Naas and Sandown. No match for the subsequent Cheltenham Festival winner You Wear It Well at the Esher track last month, the daughter of Flemensfirth appreciated the drop in class in her home country staying on well to lead after the second last and scoring by a length and a quarter. There is every chance she will returned to Graded company at one of the spring Festivals at either Fairyhouse or Punchestown next month.
