All orders for One Jump Ahead received up to lunchtime on Wednesday have been posted out. Those which have arrived since will be posted on Thursday before the next postal strikes which are set for Friday and Saturday. Unfortunately, there are a further 19 strikes set to take place during October and November and doubtless more will be planned in the run up to Christmas.
A big thank you to 13 times champion trainer Paul Nicholls for giving One Jump Ahead a plug on his twitter page on Sunday - with over 140,000 followers publicity like that is priceless and it has certainly accelerated sales once again. We now have less than 400 copies left, which isn't bad considering the book was published less than a fortnight ago.
Lucinda Russell's interview in OJA has made a blistering start to the new season with Apple Away (11/1) the latest winner at Bangor on Wednesday. The five year old was purchased for £35,000 in April and made her a winning start to her Rules career with a head victory in the two and a half miles mares' novice hurdle. The interview has already produced three winners at odds of 11/2, 13/2 and 11/1. The Grand National winning handler has 16 entries at Kelso on Sunday and she couldn't have made a better start to the Autumn.
