Anyharminasking was suggested as a well handicapped novice hurdler in the Christmas Special and Jonjo O'Neill Irish recruit hasn't let us down winning twice since. The Getaway gelding claimed the notable scalp of Constitution Hill when winning his only point-to-point for Donnchadh Doyle before being sold for €145,000 during the spring. Runner-up in a couple of novice hurdles at Worcester and Uttoxeter, he appeared to have been let in lightly off a mark of 114 and so it proved when he bolted up on his handicap debut at Catterick this month. A six and a half lengths winner, he barely came off the bridle. Despite the assessor raising him thirteen pounds, it didn't halt his progress as he followed up in similar style at Sedgefield on Sunday. Given a patient ride by Jonjo O'Neill jnr, he sauntered to another easy success winning hard held by five lengths. Having won on a Sunday, it gives connections nearly a fortnight to run under a penalty before he runs again off his revised rating. It will be a surprise if he doesnt land the hat-trick.
I am currently working on the February Update - please head to the Publications section of the site, if you haven't already ordered a copy.
