AOTF to be published on Thursday 6th April

I spent most of Thursday morning at the printers adding the page numbers to Ahead On The Flat and I am pleased to announce the book is now complete and the print run began the same afternoon. The plan is for it to be published next Thursday (6th April) and pre orders will be sent out as soon as possible. However, as discussed, there is no post on Good Friday or Easter Monday, which will slow things down a bit. Frustrating but there isn't a lot we can do about the timing of Easter. 

I sent a mail shot via email on Thursday afternoon to previous clients and next week we will be posting letters to the remaining customers. It is possible to order Ahead On The Flat and the Updates via the Publications section of the site. Judging by the response, clients are certainly looking forward to the start of the turf season. 

Switching codes, the Unraced Bumper Horse section in One Jump Ahead unearthed Junta Marvel (85/40) in the concluding mares' bumper at Limerick. Trained by Willie Mullins, the daughter of Masked Marvel stayed on strongly to beat point winner Bioluminescence by two and a half lengths with a further nine lengths back to the third. Connections are eyeing a tilt at a Graded mares' bumper at the Punchestown Festival. The five year old looks a nice prospect for hurdling next term.
