The One Jump Ahead Cheltenham Festival Update, which will be emailed to clients on Sunday (10th March), will include a stable interview with the in-form Ben Pauling. Nicky Henderson's former assistant sent out 80 winners last season and has continued in a similar vein this winter with 63 successes during 2023/2024. Henry's Friend and Personal Ambition have provided the yard with Grade 2 wins at Ascot and Kelso this term. Ben is set to have a team of 9 or 10 over the four days of the Festival, including representatives in the Supreme, Baring Bingham and Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdles.
Many thanks to those clients who have subscribed to the Festival Update - the response has been superb and very much appreciated. If you haven't ordered your copy, please head to the Publications section of the site.
Finally, here's a sobering thought - the first three year old hurdles of the year are set to take place at Compiegne in France on Tuesday. Therefore in theory, the 2025 Triumph Hurdle winner could make his hurdling debut before the 2024 version has even taken place.
