Grow Old With Me (8/1), who is featured in the Maidens In Waiting section of Ahead On The Flat, dead-heated for first place on his handicap debut at Wolverhampton on Monday evening. Fitted with blinkers for the first time and racing off a mark of 78, the gelded son of No Nay Never looked set for outright victory in the seven furlongs event only to be joined on the line. This was only his fourth career start having missed the whole of his three year old career and hopefully Ralph Beckett's charge has more to offer in the remaining weeks of the campaign.
