York Ebor Update winner impresses

Thank you once again to those clients who have ordered One Jump Ahead and the Update in recent days - judging by the response, clients seem ready for the National Hunt season. I contacted Jamie Snowden on Monday and he forwarded plans for an exciting recruit from France, plus three unraced bumpers horses who will be running in the Autumn / early winter. I still have a few other contacts to speak to later in the week.

Quicken Away was highlighted as a juvenile to follow in the York Ebor Update following his promising debut run at Newbury last month. A colt by Frankel who cost 500,000gns as a yearling, Andrew Balding's charge confirmed that view by running out an impressive winner over a mile at Goodwood on Tuesday. Making all the running under Oisin Murphy, he was pushed out to score by a length. Entered in the Group 2 Royal Lodge Stakes, it will be interesting to see where he heads next. He looks a Pattern performer in the making.
