Bleak week

Due to the inclement weather, which looks set to continue for a few more days, we have been starved of jumping action this week. In the meantime, I have been working on the February Update - there were a few Cheltenham clues on offer at Naas last Sunday - and will continue to do so over the coming weeks. Lulamba was highlighted as a juvenile hurdler to follow in the November Update - remember where you read about him first - and Nicky Henderson's latest recruit from France has been declared to make his UK debut at Kempton on Saturday. From the same source as Galopin Des Champs, namely Arnaud Chaille-Chaille, the Nirvana Du Berlais gelding won his sole start at Auteuil in October and looks potentially top-class. Available at 33/1 for the Triumph Hurdle when mentioned in November, the four year old is now as short as 4/1.
