Interview with David O'Meara for the York Ebor Update

I am delighted to announce I conducted an interview with Jason Kelly, assistant to David O'Meara, on Monday afternoon for the York Ebor Update. The Upper Helmsley stable have been in splendid form with 55 winners this season. Since racing resumed in June, the yard's monthly totals have been 17, 22 and 5 and they are set be strongly represented on the Knavesmire next week. There are 16 horses included in the interview, plus there is an update on Stewards' Cup winner Summerghand and the six year old's future plans. Jason is one of the most astute assistants in the business and a big part of the O'Meara team.

It has been a busy start to the week because I also interviewed Chris Gordon for One Jump Ahead. Based near Winchester in Hampshire, the stable had their joint best season last winter with 30 winners and Highway One O Two provided Gordon with his first Graded winner when taking the Grade 2 Dovecote Novices' Hurdle at Kempton in February. Chris was entertaining to say the least and his interview is an excellent addition to OJA. He has put together a decent team of youngsters and has plenty to look forward to this season.
