AOTF Top 40 PROFIT £346.10

The curtain came down on the Flat turf season at Doncaster on Saturday and, while Valvano could only finish fifth in the November Handicap, the Top 40 Prospects have enjoyed a terrific season. I have been compiling the final statistics for the various sections of Ahead On The Flat. 

The Top 40 Prospects - 43 winners from 154 runners (28%). PROFIT of £346.10 (£10 stake). The highlights included Group 1 winners ECONOMICS (Irish Champion Stakes), ELMALKA (1000 Guineas) & FRIENDLY SOUL (Prix de L'Opera). There were 2 Royal Ascot winners, namely ENGLISH OAK (Buckingham Palace Handicap) & MICKLEY (Britannia Stakes). 

Maidens In Waiting - 12 winners from 48 runners (25%). PROFIT of £90.40 (£10 stake). They included Listed winners ALMAQAM (7/1) and SUNFALL (18/1)

Switching Stables - 7 winners from 37 runners (19%). PROFIT of £32.40. The winners included COVER POINT (4/1 & 15/2), Listed winner LA ISLA MUJERES (7/2) and WILTSHIRE (14/1 & 7/2)

Unraced Three Year Olds - 26 winners from 103 runners (25%). Listed winning pair LEAD ARTIST (6/4, 9/2, 3/1) & MILITARY ACADEMY (7/4, 15/8, Evens) were featured.
