Kiss Will, featured in the French Revolution section of One Jump Ahead, overcame a mistake at the last before winning impressively on his Irish debut at Fairyhouse on Thursday. Previously trained by Francois Nicolle in his native country, the five year old was acquired for €280,000 in September 2023 and has been given plenty of time since joining Willie Mullins. Contesting a two miles maiden hurdle, Paul Townend's mount made all the running and went clear rounding the home turn. Despite the error at the final flight, he was always in control and stretched clear to score by 17 lengths. Expect him to step up in class next time and there should be plenty of improvement forthcoming following only his second career start.
