Interview with Karl Burke

Middleham based Karl Burke enjoyed a personal best campaign in 2025 with 134 domestic winners and total prize-money in the UK reaching £3,740,821. The Spigot Lodge operation were responsible for 39 Pattern races successes last year, including four at the highest level. I interviewed Karl on Monday afternoon and he is understandably excited about the season ahead. There are nine stable interviews in the Talking Trainers section of the new edition of Ahead On The Flat, namely Andrew Balding, Ralph Beckett, Ed Bethell, George Boughey, Karl Burke, Owen Burrows, William Haggas, Roger Varian and Ed Walker.

As discussed, full details of Ahead On the Flat and the Updates will be added to the Publications section later in the week - I have forwarded the information to my printer who is currently working on the front and back covers. Once they are complete, they will be sent to the web designer.
