Tom Lacey's horses have hit form in recent days - 4 winners from his last 7 runners - and Lundi Noir (11/10) made an excellent start to his career when scoring on his debut at Market Rasen on Tuesday. Featured in the Unraced Bumper Horses section in One Jump Ahead, the Doctor Dino jumped well for a first timer before staying on strongly having hit the front between the final two flights. A four lengths winner, it was a weak maiden hurdle but he is held in high regard and can only improve for the experience. He will contest another novice hurdle under a penalty and then his opening mark will determine where he heads after that.
I am currently working on the new edition of Ahead On The Flat - typing up last week's interviews - and will be conducting more interviews next week. I will also update the website shortly with the full details of AOTF and the Updates and then clients will be able to pre order.
The entries for the handicaps at the Cheltenham Festival were published on Tuesday with the weights being announced next week (25th February). If you haven't ordered your copy of the One Jump Ahead Cheltenham Festival Update, please head to the Publications section of the site. The Update is £12 and, as discussed, will include some of the early season information for the Flat season which I have learned from my interviews.
