Disappointing news but not surprising

It was the news subscribers feared and it was confirmed on Tuesday that the Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Inothewayurthinkin will miss next month's Grand National. It is obviously disappointing having advised Gavin Cromwell's gelding at 33/1 before his run in the Irish Gold Cup in early February but it is not a surprise. The seven year old will never get the chance to race off a mark of 160 again any time soon but it is understandably given the fact he is still a young horse and his jumping has come together this year. That's racing - hopefully the other antepost selection in the February Update will more than make up for his absence.
