York Ebor Update emailed on Monday pm

Just a reminder that the York Ebor Update will be emailed to clients on Monday evening - once I have seen the entries for Saturday's action. There is still time to order a copy - please head to the Publications section of the site. The Update, which includes an interview with David O'Meara's assistant Jason Kelly, is priced at £6.00.

Friendly Soul provided the Top 40 Prospects in AOTF with its 30th winner of the season when making all in the Group 2 Prix Alec Head at Deauville. The John & Thady Gosden trained filly was winning for the third time this season following Listed and Group 3 wins at Newmarket and Ascot earlier this year. Given a fine ride from the front by Kieran Shoemark, the Kingman stayed on strongly to beat Birthe by a length. Entered in the Group 1 Prix de L'Opera at Longchamp (6th October), that looks a realistic target and she deserves a crack at a Group 1.
