Irish Pointers winner Le Frimeur (2/1)

Le Frimeur (2/1), who is featured in Declan Phelan's Irish Pointers section in One Jump Ahead, was returning from an absence of 119 days when making it two out of two over hurdles at Newbury on Friday. The Harry Derham trained youngster suffered a setback following his win at Chepstow in November and he looked a stout stayer here as he led after the last in the two and a half miles novice. Set to come into his own over three miles over fences in future, he may have one more run this term with a trip to the Punchestown Festival a possibility. He is a fine long term prospect.
