Still time to order the York Ebor Festival Update

There is still time to order a copy of the Ahead On The Flat York Ebor Update - please head to the Publications section of the site. The 26 page Update has full analysis of the four days on the Knavesmire, plus an interview with Jason Kelly, David O'Meara's right hand man. Jason has kindly run through the stable's runners during the week and there is news of some new recruits from France which were purchased at the Arqana Summer Sale in France in July. In addition, there are a couple of ante-post selections for next month's Ayr Gold Cup and news of the featured horses in the Top 40 Prospects in Ahead On The Flat - including an interesting suggestion for the Cambridgeshire Handicap at Newmarket in late September. The Update is £6.00.

It was announced on Monday that owner Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Maktoum has removed his string of horses from Roger Varian, including Top 40 entry Matsuri. It is not the first time he has transferred his string and it will be a surprise if it is the last. Aimeric and Boiling Point have been sent to Karl Burke, while Botanical has joined George Boughey.
