Top 40 Prospects Grade 2 winner @ 9/4

Top 40 entry Tripoli Flyer (9/4) made it three wins from four starts over hurdles when producing an impressive display in the Grade 2 Dovecote Novices' Hurdle at Kempton on Saturday. Fergal O'Brien's gelding had won in good style at Musselburgh at the beginning of the month and produced an even better display at the Sunbury track. While his jumping still requires some attention, there is no mistaking his ability quickening to lead between the final two flights. An error at the final flight didn't halt his progress too much before running on well to secure a seven and a half lengths win under Johnny Burke. Entered in the Skybet Supreme Novices' Hurdle at Cheltenham, it is hoped he skips the Festival and is saved for the Grade 1 novice hurdle over two miles at Aintree.
