The once raced Minzelle was highlighted in the Royal Ascot Update as a juvenile to keep an eye on in the coming weeks. The daughter of Minzaal had shown a lot of speed over six furlongs on her debut at Haydock last month before tiring late on in third. Dropped back to the minimum trip at Catterick on Monday, Karl Burke's filly was strongly supported (15/8 into 8/13 at one stage) and justified that confidence with a commanding performance. Drawn towards the outside, Clifford Lee's mount sat in behind the leaders before produced over a furlong out. Readily pulling clear to win easily by three and a half lengths, she looks Pattern race material and it wouldn't be a surprise to see her contest something like the Group 3 Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood (29th July).
