Inevitably, there are going to be a fair share of injuries throughout the National Hunt season. Unfortunately, the Top 40 has already been hard hit with the horse featured on page 31 passing away having incurred an injury at home. The horse on page 33 is also out for the season. In other news, the one featured on page 28 has left his previous trainer - news of him plus the other horses in OJA will be included in the November Update.

Talking of OJA, we now have less than 50 copies in stock - please purchase, plus the Updates, via the Publications section of the site.

In other news, Toby Bulgin's impressive bumper winner Black Eddy has been sold privately. A four year old by Frammassone, he won by two and a quarter lengths at Chepstow earlier this month with his handler believing he is the best horse he has trained. Now owned by Martin Gowing, he has joined Mickey Bowen and it will be interesting to see if he is kept to bumpers this term. Either way, he looked a smart prospect at the Welsh venue.
