Interview with Rich Ricci

Rich and Susannah Ricci became the first owners to be responsible for the Champion Hurdle and Cheltenham Gold Cup winners in the same season. Lossiemouth and Gaelic Warrior on the blue Riband of hurdling and steeplechasing respectively last spring with 25 Grade 1 winners in total. Their pink and green silks will be worn by some exciting new recruits which have been purchased in recent months. I am delighted to say the new edition of One Jump Ahead will include an interview with Rich once again- he has 25 horses in training with Willie Mullins, a dozen of which haven't run for him yet. There are eight new purchases from France, plus a couple of potentially smart additions from the Irish pointing ranks. I am sure readers will find it a tremendous read.
