King George winner Banbridge advised @ 33/1

Thank you very much to all those clients who emailed after Banbridge's win in the King George Chase at Kempton on Thursday - it is greatly appreciated and a fantastic result. Advised in One Jump Ahead at 33/1 and tipped in the Christmas Special (7/1), it was a brilliant training performance by Joseph O'Brien and his team. Prepped twice over two miles this term, the eight year old was produced spot on and given an ice cool ride by Paul Townend. Having jumped into the back of Spillane's Tower early on, he was towards the rear but his jockey was patient throughout before making ground in the backstraight on the final circuit. The runner-up Il Est Francais jumped superbly under James Reveley and had everyone bar the winner in trouble a long way from home. Tight into the last, Banbridge landed running and he won going away by a length and three quarters with ten lengths back to the third. Noel George's runner-up is remarkable horse having bled in two of his three races and yet produced an effort like this. 

Pour yourself a drink and raise a glass to Joseph O'Brien and Paul Townend - it was a memorable result.
