AOTF gone to the printers

Ahead On The Flat has now been finalised and gone to the printers - I spent Thursday morning adding the page numbers and the book has now gone to print. The publishing date is the week beginning Monday 7th April and all orders will be sent out as soon as it is available.

One of the most exciting features in AOTF compared to similar publications are the unraced horses - Timeform never include any unraced horses. There is the Unraced Three Year Old section, which features 25 unraced three year olds. Last year's feature included Pattern race winners Lead Artist and Military Academy. 

Within the Talking Trainers section, Ed Bethell, George Boughey and James Owen have nominated the two year old's they are most looking forward to this year. Read which colt Ed describes as "very smart and as nice a two year old I have trained." George's choices include potentially useful juveniles owned by Amo Racing and Sheikh Mohammed Obaid Al Makotum, while James Owen's selection include "a lovely homebred colt who is showing up well at home and will be running once the six furlongs races start."

In addition, bloodstock agent Anthony Bromley has highlighted 25 unraced juveniles for 2025 in Bromley's Best Buys. They include a select bunch of youngsters belonging to Simon Munir & Isaac Souede and in training with Joseph O'Brien in Ireland.

I am working at Wetherby on Friday and will then resume work on the Aintree Grand National Update. As discussed, the Update will be emailed to clients on Tuesday pm (1st April).
