Jasmin De Vaux was highlighted as a horse to follow in the Declan Phelan's Irish Pointers section and the five year old made an excellent start to his Rules career by winning the bumper at Naas on Sunday. Always prominent, Willie Mullins' charge took charge inside the final quarter of a mile stretching away to register a fifteen lengths success, propelling him to the fore of the ante-post market for the Cheltenham Festival bumper. A point winner for Stuart Crawford, the Tirwanako gelding had reportedly impressed in a schooling bumper recently and was backed on his Rules debut as though defeat was out of the question. He won't look out of place at the Festival.
